Alien vs Predator - the review.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but nothing like the other film, 17 Jan 2012 This review is from: Alien vs Predator [DVD] (DVD) I bought this film for my son because he is a big fan of the previous film, so this is as much his review as mine. He was excited at first but after about half an hour it became obvious that it he didn't like it, and he said that he didn't want to watch it anymore, we tried to convince him to give it a chance and that maybe it would get better but he was very insistent and even started screaming. Later I watched it myself to try and find out what he didn't like about it, and I think I can see why. 1: It's not CGI, this time it's all live action. 2: The characters look completely different. 3: There's absolutely no comedy in it and 4: No Reese Witherspoon. All in all, I wouldn't say it's a terrible film, but it's nothing like monsters vs aliens at all and from our experience definitely not for young children.
